Silver Lining

The first blossoms of 2021.

Sometimes...many times...less is more.

If one thing can be learned from the past year, it might be that we don't need as much as we think we do. We might be a little spoiled, we, living this North American lifestyle. Trimming back our business and our recreation leaves a simple, more peaceful existence. Time for quiet. Time for slow breathing and time to listen. I hope and pray for you and for me, that we'll appreciate a simpler life...not unproductive...just more peaceful. This year, I hope to spend more time making things, being content with what I have and keeping unnecessary noise out of my life. Hard work and even stress is inevitable and ok, but chaos is not. I want a simple, beautiful bouquet on my table, to grace my space with scent and color.

It's January. Time to bring the florals out of the cold dead ground.
